If you’re a fan of the gangster genre. There are three upcoming programmes on Netflix and Paramount Plus respectively that you should be checking out. The Gentleman will get its highly anticipated second season. Mobland as well, but also, you have Sylvester Stallone’s highly rated Tulsa King making its return at some point soon as well. Each offering something vastly different from each other but all cooking up worlds that will reel you in and make you wise up.
As fans of the genre we are being really spoiled for choice here. But to put it quite simply, none of these are an offer that you can simply refuse. They’re each good and vastly different from each other with compelling stories and characters that will not only have you on the edge of your seat but if you haven’t connected with this genre before. You might find that one of them is actually quite a compelling watch for you.
Furthermore, I learnt recently that Tom Hardy nearly quit Mobland. However, that situation quickly cleared up and in the third season we get to see him as ‘The Fixer’ in season 3. That’s great news because without that character, I do not think Mobland would have gotten very far going into subsequent seasons, despite the stellar castings all around. They all do a fantastic job in portraying their characters respectively and keeping casts together is always a great thing for the fans.
