GTA VI preorders are open on the 25th of June. So what am I expecting for the price of admission here? Well, plenty of detail and a generational open world experience where attention to detail is absolutely on point. We had the previous release all the way back in 2013 with GTA V after all.
It’s all going to be about how much craftsmanship has been put in to make this the most realistic open-world experience going. That’s the least we can expect for the budget of this game right for single-player? How about GTA Online? I think the first bit of game-play we see is going to set the anticipation levels for that part of the game and what it truly could be capable of.
Will cross-play be a thing? How big of an evolution are we going to see with this one in terms of just the scale and detail we’re going to see. I am expecting a lot from GTA VI. It’s GTA, and it’s going to be a game that stays around for a long time after release based on the depth within the foundations of the game. Is it going to be worth the price of admission? I think that ultimately is going to depend on how much we see that is generational for this Vice City.
I had a great time back in the day in the previous version of Vice City. When GTA VI is presenting and fusing some of the features of the best of GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas of past titles. I think this game is going to compliment the best of each other. If that turns out to be the case, then what a way that would be to bring that into the next generation GTA title, while also, setting it in one of the most atmospheric settings in the whole series. I cannot see what more a GTA fan would want out of this.
Will it be worth the price of admission and the hype? That depends on your expectations. But what is absolutely clear is that we’re going to see a lot of the best features from two of the best in the GTA series. It’s all going to be about how Rockstar has crafted that atmosphere, and ultimately, taken a franchise to the next level in terms of what current hardware is capable of as well.
