A new Call of Juarez is in the works and we should be getting more information as soon as Techland is finished with Dying Light: The Beast. My hope is that the new game of Call of Juarez will build on the foundations of what made Bound in Blood so great. Especially multiplayer, but if they can somehow bring some unique aspects to the world in terms of the story and setting. This could be the game that really brings the franchise back to what made it great in the first place.
As someone who fondly remembers playing in the days of Xbox 360, and with an amazing community, it kept that game alive for so long. Now just imagine if they allowed cross-play and brought both the Xbox and PlayStation communities together. There has been mention that a new game is in the works and that news is imminent but I don’t have an exact timeframe on when they could make an announcement or what form the game will actually take.
Nonetheless, if it can kind of get the old gang back together after so many years. It could really be a promising bit of news for those of you excited about the opportunity that this presents. Especially if it sticks to the principles of the Wild West we all loved back then. The franchise is now back in the hands of Techland themselves after regaining from Ubisoft. Anything then, could be on the agenda.
