Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch 2 a few months ago. It’s been an incredible success. Games like Mario Kart World and the new Donkey Kong have given a sample of what is to come from this generation. At the moment there is this air of discontent around the launch in terms of Nintendo not launching with more software for the console itself.
However, I think something is brewing in terms of a Nintendo Direct. More software is getting rated and the dire need for a Nintendo Direct hasn’t been more relevant with some fans getting the ‘itch’. We’re now in September and Nintendo will be looking ahead to what’s to come for the beginning of next year and beyond.
It’s true Nintendo has been quiet, but then it gets you thinking just what they might have for us in the next one? That’s a cause to be excited more so than doom and gloom, right? At least I think so anyway. A lot of Nintendo fans love the power of the current console and what it’s doing and many are happy to wait it out and even play older software to pass the time. At the same time though, something is brewing in Nintendo land and I expect us to see what comes next when the house of Mario opens the curtain for us to take a peek inside once again.
Metroid could have its big launch very soon I think! It’s definitely time along with a look at many others.
